As part of the manifesting your goals process it’s very important, as we know, to write them down and be very specific. It’s even more important, as to how you write them down. Powerful affirmations and statements with feeling and gratitude, lead you to successfully accomplish your goals a whole lot quicker, than without these things.
For example: Let’s say one of my goals is to own a new car.
One way that you can articulate this is “I want a new car” or “I really want a new car”. Does this excite you enough to go out there and take some action towards achieving this goal? No, it doesn’t get the juices flowing at all does it? “But you said I have to write them down” I hear you say. Correct but what if you were to write that same goal in a different way?
For example: “I am so happy and grateful that I’m driving up to the North Coast in my new Mazda 3 which is Silver in colour, is incredibly safe and has 6 spoke wheels and a spoiler on the back. I’m so excited that this vehicle is mine on or before December 2016.”
Do you see the difference in the message you are sending out to the Universe?
The first is just a statement, the second is a true desire that you are so grateful for and looks amazing. Can you see this car or the one that you want coming to fruition this way or the first?
This goes for each and every one of your goals. Note that in the second version of your clearly defined goal, that all the rules have been followed. It’s written in the present tense, it’s descriptive and you are very grateful to the universe. It is spoken with desire and given a soft deadline.
Sending out positive signals to the universe is paramount and expressing your gratitude and belief is powerful.
I have created a journal in which I write every morning before I start my working day. I write down at least 3 things that I am incredibly grateful for. From the smallest to the largest, but regardless of what it is my gratitude to the universe goes out every morning. Why don’t you try this practice, you’ll be amazed at how well your day unfolds. You soon see that the more thankful you are for what you do have, the more wonderful things will come in your life.
